On Monday, the cryptocurrency markets were largely in the red. Bitcoin (BTC) declined 2% to $30,221, while Ethereum (ETH) plummeted below $1,900. BTC volume was over $13.19 billion, up 5.23% in the last 24 hours. “Bitcoin reached a one-year high on Friday, surpassing the $31,000 mark.” However, it has since entered a consolidation phase, with prices stabilising at $30,000 in the last 24 hours. “With a significant increase of more than 14% in the last seven days, Bitcoin has gained positive investor sentiment.” The primary difficulty for Bitcoin is to keep its price above the critical US$30,000 threshold, which might ignite further upward movement. Other popular crypto coins were also in the red. Cardano, Litecoin, and Polygon all fell more than 3%.

The worldwide cryptocurrency market cap was around $1.18 trillion, down 2% in the last 24 hours. Bitcoin, the world’s largest cryptocurrency, had a market valuation of roughly $586 billion. According to CoinMarketCap, Bitcoin’s dominance is at 49.90%, a 0.13% decline from the previous day. With Bitcoin hanging at $30,184, market participants are keeping a careful eye on the important psychological support level of $30,000. A breach below this level might take Bitcoin towards the $28,250 barrier, indicating a bearish trend. A break above the $31,250 resistance level, on the other hand, might expose Bitcoin to greater price zones such as $32,000 or even $34,150. Cryptocurrency Price Today
